General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Article 1: Offer

The purpose of the Airport Transfer24 company is to transport people for a fee, for this it makes available to users, via its site www.airportstaxi.ch , vehicle booking software with drivers for individuals and professionals.

Article 2: Reservation

All reservations must be made by the Customer or by a duly authorized agent. For any reservation, the customer must provide the following information:

Customer Information:
Surname, first name, telephone number, email, and residential address.

Trip information:
Date and time of pick-up, place of departure and arrival, number of passengers, need for a booster seat, number of pieces of luggage, as well as the flight or train number if applicable.

Article 3: Cancellation and modification

The customer may request the cancellation of the service up to 24 hours before the date and time of pick-up and obtain reimbursement of the sums paid.

Regarding the cancellation of the service less than 24 hours before the date and time of pick-up, an amount of CHF 15 for the SEDAN range (CHF 25 for the VAN ranges) will be due, as a fixed and fixed penalty. ).

Regarding the cancellation of the service less than 2 hours before the date and time of pick-up, it will be due, as a fixed and fixed penalty, the minimum amount of a race, i.e. an amount of 90% concerning the SEDAN range (%90  for the VAN range).

The service provider may cancel the transport of the customer in the event of force majeure, in which case the customer may benefit from compensation. He can also cancel the transport if the customer does not show up at the agreed place, beyond a period set at 15 minutes. In the latter case, the customer will be charged for his breach.

Any modification of the route by the customer during the service and resulting in program changes, may result in supplements to be paid on site or at the end of the service.

Article 4: Provision

Any provision of services must be the subject of a written reservation. It must be carried out by the customer or by a duly authorized representative. Any reservation must mention the place of performance of the service, the number of passengers and the name and contact details of the beneficiary of the service if it is different from those of the customer.

Any cancellation of availability must be reported 48 hours before the start of the service. Failing this and for any reason whatsoever, it will be due, as a fixed and fixed penalty, non-deductible equal to the amount initially provided for when booking.

The service is only valid once, and if it turns out that the customer was not present at the meeting place, the service would be definitively lost and will not give any right to reimbursement. Any waiting, beyond an excess of one hour, will be invoiced on the hourly basis mentioned in our rates for the category of the reserved vehicle.

Article 5: Fees

The rates communicated by our booking module are given for information only and may vary depending on the period or the desired schedule, to obtain confirmation of the rates the customer must request a quote online via the contact form CONTACT WE.

The transfer rate applies to direct non-stop travel from the pick-up point to the arrival point, with the service ending immediately thereafter. The amount of luggage transported is proportional to the capacity of the vehicle.

The prices indicated include the vehicle, the driver’s service, the insurance for the persons transported, the fuel, the kilometers and the time determined at the time of the reservation and/or at the conclusion of the contract as well as the transport of the customer’s luggage in the limit of the possibility of the vehicle. The cost of tolls, parking, places of parking or entry into any places chosen by the customer and/or made essential for the performance of the service not initially provided for in the journey remain the responsibility of the customer.
The price given corresponds to a price per vehicle, regardless of the number of people (from 1 to 4 people for the SEDAN range for example)

Article 6: Rules

For occasional customers, our services are payable when booking (online payment via Stripe) or on board the vehicle by credit card (payment by TPE via SumUp) or by cash.

For account customers, invoices are payable upon receipt by bank transfer.

Any invoice not paid within 5 days of the date of invoicing of the service automatically entails the application of penalties of €40 and an amount equal to 3 times the legal interest rate.

In all cases, the customer, signatory of the reservation, is solely responsible for the payment of the service.

Article 7: Limitation of liability clauses

Airport Transfer24 undertakes to take the necessary steps to get the passenger to their destination as soon as possible and in optimal safety conditions in accordance with the Highway Code and the laws in force.

LUXURY VTC can in no way be held responsible for delays in transport times due to circumstances beyond its control: road closed, bridge closed to traffic, deviation, flooded road, traffic jams, interventions on the roadway by police forces, customs or firefighters, etc… (without this list being exhaustive).

Airport Transfer24 can in no way be held responsible for delays due to cases of force majeure: strikes, weather conditions, attacks, riots, etc… (without this list being exhaustive).

Airport Transfer24 can in no way be held responsible for delays directly resulting from an initial delay by a customer, or the need to make a trip, at the request of the customer, within a time that is clearly too short.

In the event of immobilization of the vehicle during the journey due to a mechanical failure, an accident or damage (theft, degradation), Airport Transfer24 will endeavor to ensure the continuity of the journey, either with one of these vehicles, or with a vehicle chartered from another company and undertakes to notify the principal. Baggage or any other object belonging to the customer remains the responsibility of the person transported.

The driver is obliged to respect the various regulations applicable to the circulation of vehicles and to ensure, within the framework of the performance of the service, to take the necessary measures to preserve the safety of the occupants of the vehicle and the good preservation of the latter.

Thus, the driver expressly reserves the right to refuse any instructions and/or requests from the customer that he considers to be likely to compromise the safety of the occupants of the vehicle and/or the proper preservation of the vehicle.
The number of authorized passengers (including the driver) is that shown in the technical characteristics of the Vehicle. It can never be surpassed.

Damage of any kind caused to the vehicle and/or other vehicles (for example, during the untimely opening of the doors) will be the responsibility of the customer unless it is demonstrated that they come from the fault of a third party. . The occupants of the vehicle, employees, service providers and guests of the customer cannot be considered as third parties.

Airport Transfer24 reserves the right to interrupt the service in progress if the driver realizes that the customer is committing an offence, for example the use of narcotics, or if the behavior of the customers jeopardizes the safety of the driver, or good if the customers were insulting to the driver.

The transport of animals is prohibited except in the case of animals (dog) accompanying visually impaired people.

In the event that Airport Transfer24 is unable to provide the vehicle provided for in the contract, the deposit will be refunded, unless the two parties agree on the provision of another vehicle.

Airport Transfer24 reserves the right not to perform the service in the event of the occurrence of a case of force majeure, a fortuitous event, due to a third party or any event that may present a risk for the client, his guests, his servants, the driver or the vehicle. In this context, the total or partial non-performance of the service cannot give rise to any compensation for the customer.

Airport Transfer24 is under no obligation to guard luggage, nor any other objects, property, clothing, effects, etc. left in the vehicle during and at the end of the service.

Article 8: Insurance

The liability of the company Airport Transfer24 is limited to the clauses of its insurance contracts.

Our vehicles are insured for the transport of people and our travelers for all bodily injury and also for professional civil liability with our insurer MAAF.

The client will have the option of taking out additional insurance at his own expense for cancellation costs, repatriation costs or coverage of luggage transported, without this list being exhaustive.

Article 9: Police and security rules

The vehicle and the driver will be provided with the on-board documents necessary for the smooth running of the transport service.
In accordance with the law in force in all public places, it is strictly forbidden to smoke on board our vehicles.

In accordance with the provisions of the drinking establishments code, it is forbidden to consume alcoholic beverages on board our vehicles.

Wearing a seat belt is compulsory for all passengers in vehicles equipped with this equipment.

 

Article 10: Collection of personal data

Airport Transfer24 is committed to respecting the privacy of its customers.

The personal information and other data communicated will not be used for any purpose other than the improvement of the service provided and will in no case be transmitted to third parties.
